I pump for my 8 week old twins and have a massive oversupply. I usually pump over 80 ounces a day and they drink about 45 combined. I have over 1000 ounces in our freezer and need to free up space. Milk pumped starting November 2023 to current. Double bagged and kept in chest freezer. All bricks have at least 50oz. I started doing 5oz bags, but earlier milk has various smaller amounts in each bag. I limit my caffeine intake and take breastfeeding safe medications. Pump parts are sanitized in the dishwasher after every use and milk is frozen within 24 hours of pumping. I’m planning to pump and feed my twins until 1 year so extra milk will be available regularly until then.
